30 SECONDS TO MARS

Their long awaited third album (This is War) is finally here and you can see them live throughout the UK whilst on their latest tour. The band then jet off to Europe for further gigs throughout March.

“This is war” was released in December to critical acclaim and includes the top 40 hit “Kings and Queens”. The Leto brothers and co. Recorded the album with famed producer, Flood, who has worked with the likes of U2 and Nine Inch Nails. 30 Seconds to Mars’ frontman, Jared Leto, said they are trying to take their music in a new direction and create a “classic album”. Whether it proves to be such a thing only time will tell.

You may have also heard 30 Seconds to Mars recently on Radio One’s live lounge, where they did a special version of their song “The Kill” and an amazing cover of Kanye West’s “stronger”.

Avenue 61 is looking forward to reviewing their gig in Cardiff at the CIA on the 21st of February and we hope to see you there!
