With a farmers market and kids cooking lessons amongst other things it would appear that Harvest at Jimmy's is no ordinary festival. It's not out there to compete with Glastonbury or T in the Park, it is its own festival. It's unique. It's different. It looks very good fun.

On Saturday the 12th and Sunday 13th of September, Jimmy's farm in Suffolk will transform to become "a festival of food and music". Boasting several well known names such as Athlete, Joze Gonzalez, Badly Drawn Boy, and KT Tunstall on the line-up over

the two day period, Harvest at Jimmy's will appeal to many out there. So much so that it's all sold out, thus if you don't have a ticket unfortunately it won't be happening for you this year - you've missed it! Also, as mentioned previously, the festival isn't all about the music, it celebrates the love of food as well and it has drafted in several cooks including, James Martin and James Wong from various BBC shows to cook for the attending festival fans. If you love listening to music, the festival atmosphere, and are a great fan of your food - it would appear there is no festival as suitable as Harvest at Jimmy's in catering for your desires. Jimmy Doherty (the farm owner at which the festival takes its name)

has stated that he is "immensely proud & excited of our line-up with lots more up our sleeves to be announced..." so it would seem that there are a few surprises to keep fans on their toes as well, always a nice touch.

The festival - which delights itself in the fact it will be "bringing you an end of the summer celebration of both [food & music]" and offers great entertainment for younger children - looks like it might just have something for everyone. The selling out of all tickets would also back up this point, as would the number of fans following the updates on social sites including Facebook and Twitter, so if you're not heading down to Suffolk in a few weeks, you'll just have to wait because this year you've not acted quick enough.
